Thanks Jim. I think we too often think of delegation as more work than if we do it ourselves. Or that it is dumping work we don’t want to do on someone else. I love this fresh perspective and will now embrace using delegation to build skills and confidence for younger team members.

I've always had this strong visual in my head of the leader as an orchestra conductor. It's an image I refer to often.
There's this balance between giving instructions, stepping back, allowing each unique talent to shine through.
