I agree being busy/ did a lot of work load does not equal to making real contribution to the world.
Funny how "essential workers" work really, really hard and do incredibly many tasks in a day, they are often said to be not contributing much. But when one is working in an office and being "busy" it's being treated as a medal....like you said, it's a cult belief.
Good point! I tend to focus on office culture because that is my background and my audience, but sometimes the most important busy people are the ones whose work is least valued.
